Lake Sebago ACA Camp

From the NY Thruway 287/87, heading North from NYC or the Tappan Zee Bridge get off at Exit 15-A, the Sloatsburg exit. Note: this exit is only a few years old and may not be found on some maps, also, unless you have 18 wheels, there are no tolls yet in that direction, no matter what your map says. Continue North on Rt 17, turn right onto Seven Lakes Drive and continue 3.3 miles until on your left you see a small sign marked ACA on a one lane dirt road. Carefully continue up this road and bear to your right when you see the sign ADK on another locked road (that's the Adirondack Mountain Club, who also maintains a camp on the lake). You will then see an ACA sign; continue through the road down the hill to the main parking lot. If you are looking for the ACA road and find yourself on a little bridge (actually a dam) or a traffic oval, you have gone too far. Don't worry about it, almost everyone misses it the very first time.
THIS IS IMPORTANT: The ACA camp rules require you to sign in at the HillTop Lodge/Al Musial Pavilion, next to the camp's only pay phone. There is usually an ACA day use fee, please pay this fee!!!! It is waived on Open House days.

From the Bear Mountain Bridge area: Take Route 6 east to the first traffic circle. Pick up Seven Lakes Drive toward Lake Tiorati. The second traffic circle will be at Lake Tiorati -- continue on Seven Lakes Drive with the lake on your left. The third traffic circle will be Kenawauke -- again, stay on Seven Lakes Drive and follow the signs toward Lake Sebago. You will pass the Sebago beach, a number of group camps, and the Sebago boat launch. After the Drive crosses a small dam, start looking on the right for the one-lane road described above. If you reach the Visitors' Center on Seven Lakes Drive, you went too far.

Rondout Creek, Kingston

Tivoli
Note that the meeting place is directly on the Hudson River, and NOT the put-in at Tivoli Bays. Like the railroad bridge at Cold Spring, the railroad bridge at Tivoli can be hard to get under with certain tidal conditions.

To get to the put-in, travel straight west through the main drag at Tivoli and down a big hill. The put-in is at the bottom of the hill, on the left. Make a left turn over the railroad tracks, park, and take down the boats. Then, if necessary, move the car back to the east side of the tracks for parking while out on the water.
Tivoli Bays
Tivoli Bays is located on the East side of the Hudson River North of Poughkeepsie by about 26 miles
> From the South If taking Route 9 (it's about 26 miles from the north end of Poughkeepsie), you can either take 9G at its beginning just north of Poughkeepsie(access from Route 9 - nice and scenic) and follow it all the way up, or continue north on Route 9 until it intersects with Route 199 (in Red Hook). If on Route 9, you will turn left onto Route 199 to go West 1.8 miles. At the intersection of 199 and 9G, you will turn right to go north on 9G and travel for 3.5 miles. You will pass a DEC park sign for Tivoli Bays on your left - BUT THAT IS NOT THE ENTRANCE you will be taking. The road you will be turning onto is another 8/10 of a mile north. You will turn off 9G onto KIDD LANE, a left turn. There is brown wooden fencing on your right, and a red barn-type building on your left at the corner where you turn. * Travel on Kidd Lane for a half mile and the park entrance will be on your left. Once in the park, you will travel down the dirt road for a mile to a cul-de-sac where we will take our boats off our cars and hopefully there will be room for us to leave our cars parked there. If there isn't any parking, once we unload our boats, the closest parking area is a half mile back up the dirt road (you will have passed it - it's where an old, white broken down barn is).
> From the Taconic State Parkway Exit at Route 199 and travel West on Route 199 approximately 9.3 miles to the 199/9G intersection. You will right through the town of Red Hook. * Continue as detailed above.
> From points North of Tivoli Take 9G South. Pass signs for 78 and town of Tivoli. Go approximately one more mile and turn right onto KIDD LANE. * Continue as detailed above.
